On National Boss’s Day, we are truly honored to celebrate Alyson Harder, CEO of Heartland Behavioral Health. Alyson leads with compassion, purpose, and integrity. She ensures every child and family who walks through our doors receives individualized care rooted in dignity, trauma-informed practices, and emotional safety. She empowers treatment teams to tailor programming to each child’s unique needs, honoring their story and supporting meaningful healing. 💛

Alyson doesn’t just lead from an office—she leads by example. She continues to walk alongside our patients, many times she has carried a patient load as a clinician while guiding our organization forward. Her commitment to remaining hands-on in care reflects her belief that leadership must stay connected to purpose and people.

Alyson's insight into the future of youth mental health keeps Heartland moving forward with clarity and innovation. Under her leadership, we have developed top-tier clinical environments and specialized therapeutic programming that truly stand apart — thoughtful, intentional, and designed to create lasting and meaningful impact on young lives.

What truly sets Alyson apart is her heart for people. She has built a culture where staff feel supported, trusted, and inspired to grow. She promotes work–life balance for employees, encourages collaboration, and fosters a genuine sense of community that makes Heartland feel like family.

Alyson, thank you for your leadership, your foresight, and your unwavering belief in our mission of Changing Lives. Your example inspires us, your compassion guides us, and your vision shapes brighter futures — today and for years to come. 💙
