That’s a wrap! 🎵 🎤 The St. Mary’s internal United Way campaign is coming to a close, but not before a final round of executive suite lip-sync entertainment.

The festivities included a Blues Brothers-style rendition of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” followed by a “Color the Stache” pledge. Thank you to all our staff who participated in the fun events hosted by our United Way Campaign Committee. From raffles to Taco Tuesday and beyond, we raised a significant amount of money to give back to our community.

We’re proud to work alongside some of the most generous employees in northwest Oklahoma. Thank you for all you do for our patients and the communities we serve. In total, our employees raised/donated $27,000 to the United Way of Enid & NW Oklahoma.

St. Mary’s Casts a Spell at the United Way Chili Cook-Off! 🌶️

On Friday, the St. Mary’s team attended the United Way Chili Cook-Off, dazzling the crowd with a magical booth.

Mary Jo, interim dietary director, brewed up a chili so good it had everyone enchanted. Guests voted with donations to support the United Way of Enid & NW Oklahoma.

From spooky booths to warm community spirit, the event was pure magic.

🌶️ Chili, Baskets & Big Hearts! 🌶️

Last week, our team came together for St. Mary’s annual United Way Fundraiser — and it was a blast! From a competitive Chili Cook-Off to a high-energy silent auction, employees showed up with spirit and generosity.

Congrats to Mary Jo, our Interim Director of Dietary, for winning the cook-off and earning the coveted Golden GOAT trophy! The silent auction was a nail-biter to the very end, with coworkers scrambling to place final bids on beautifully themed baskets.

A huge THANK YOU to all departments and vendors who donated, and to every employee who contributed. We’re proud to support our United Way friends of Northwest Oklahoma! 💙

St. Mary's United Way Committee hosted the "Pie in the Face" fundraiser for an internal campaign to help raise funds to support the United Way of Enid & NW Oklahoma.

Each year, a committee is formed and events are planned to help raise funds to contribute to and support our local United Way organizations. Various members of the management team volunteered themselves for the "Pie in the Face" fundraiser.

Additional events will continue over the next couple of weeks through the end of the United Way Campaign. Thank you to the employees and members of management for your contributions.

On Saturday, St. Mary's partnered with My Country 103.1 KOFM, Oklahoma's Country radio station, as the title sponsor of the Paint Enid Pink 5K Color Run. This run is held each year in October to raise awareness and money for Project 31 and St. Mary's Regional Cancer Center. St. Mary's proudly sponsored this event in honor of our cancer patients.

Receiving a cancer diagnosis and learning about the available treatments can be frightening and overwhelming. St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, Oklahoma was founded in 1915 by Dr. G.A. Boyle as a 12-bed hospital named Enid Spring Sanatorium and Baths. The hospital was purchased in 1937 by the Adorers of the Blood of Christ of Wichita, Kansas and was leased by Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) from 1984 to 1995. The Sisters of Mercy Health System, St. Louis, Missouri, purchased the hospital in 1995 and made it a part of the Mercy Health System Oklahoma.
