The Resilience Behavioral Health Unit at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center is celebrating 10 years of service to patients in northwest Oklahoma.

Resilience Behavioral Health is a 15-bed inpatient psychiatric unit for adults managed by Horizon Health. The program provides evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for a range of psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, suicidal thoughts and other behavioral health conditions.

St. Mary’s partners with Horizon Health to deliver patient-centered care that addresses mental health, substance use disorder, life crises and stress-related symptoms.

Last Friday, My Country 103.1 KOFM Oklahoma's Country and St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center presented Project 31 founder Sarah McLean with a check for $5,358. The funds were raised in the community to support local breast cancer survivors and their families.

St. Mary’s served as the title sponsor of the Paint Enid Pink 5K run, hosted by My Country 103.1 KOFM and Williams Media Group.

Project 31 was founded by McLean, a two-time breast cancer survivor, who recognized during her own treatment and recovery the need for peer-to-peer relationships, mentoring, support groups, activities, counseling, scholarships and other resources to help women and their families heal from the emotional scars left by breast cancer.

Thank you to everyone in the community who came together to support cancer patients, survivors and their family members.

St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, Oklahoma was founded in 1915 by Dr. G.A. Boyle as a 12-bed hospital named Enid Spring Sanatorium and Baths. The hospital was purchased in 1937 by the Adorers of the Blood of Christ of Wichita, Kansas and was leased by Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) from 1984 to 1995. The Sisters of Mercy Health System, St. Louis, Missouri, purchased the hospital in 1995 and made it a part of the Mercy Health System Oklahoma.
