This month, we’re proud to highlight our November Volunteer Spotlight, Carolyn Patzkowski, a dedicated member of our volunteer team whose commitment and compassion brighten our halls each week.

Carolyn joined INTEGRIS Health Enid Hospital as a volunteer in June 2024, beginning her service in the cardiac rehabilitation center before transitioning to nutrition services in July 2025. She faithfully serves every Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to Noon, offering steady support wherever it’s needed most.

When asked why she chose to volunteer, Carolyn shared that she wanted to help others in a variety of settings and provide assistance wherever she could. For her, the most rewarding part of volunteering is simple yet powerful: meeting the needs of others.

We’re grateful for Carolyn’s continued dedication and the kindness she brings to our patients, visitors and caregivers. Thank you, Carolyn, for making a meaningful difference each and every week!

November Caregiver Spotlight: Maria Lopez, RT 🌟

This month, we’re proud to shine a light on Maria Lopez, RT, whose compassion and commitment make a meaningful difference for the patients she serves every day.

Maria’s journey into health care began at the Enid Lung and Kidney Clinic, where five years as a medical assistant sparked her interest in radiology. During school, a powerful moment with a family member during a mammogram—and the supportive mammography technologist who helped them through it—solidified her passion for helping women feel cared for and comfortable during such an important exam.

Maria says she’s continued her career at INTEGRIS Health because of the positive work environment, and each day she looks forward to simply helping people. What does she love most? Connecting with her patients and ensuring they feel at ease. One of her proudest moments is when patients return year after year and request her by name — a true testament to her impact.

Outside of work, Maria enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids and looks forward to big annual family trips with her parents and siblings.
