Karen Watson McMullin, a dedicated trustee of Madison Valley Medical Center, will serve as this year’s Grand Marshal for the Ennis 4th of July Parade!

Karen’s deep roots in the Madison Valley and lifelong commitment to public service make her the perfect embodiment of this year’s theme: Hometown Proud. She and her husband, Paul, have lived in the valley for 41 years, raising their four children and giving back every step of the way.

A recently retired attorney, Karen ran her own law firm for 27 years and served our community as Ennis City Attorney, City Judge, and substitute for the Madison County Justice of the Peace. She was also a driving force behind the creation of Montana’s CASA program and served 12 years as President of the Fifth Judicial District’s “Voice for Children.”

Karen is also the author of Love Wins: A True Story of Tragedy, Heroes, and Healing in Small Town Montana-a testament to the strength and resilience of our community.

As a current trustee at Madison Valley Medical Center, Karen continues to serve with heart and purpose. We are grateful for her leadership and honored to have her lead this year’s celebration.

The Ennis Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit that is solely responsible for the planning and ex*****on of this event. We're responsible for all city/state permits (which have fees), participants in the parade and paid staff to plan and support.

Madison Valley Medical Center will be closed today, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day. The Emergency Room remains open 24/7 for urgent medical needs.
