Davis Hawley Eyecare will soon be adding the Essilor Stellest eyeglass lens to our toolbox for helping our young patients with Myopia. As with other myopia management alternatives, the goal is to SLOW the PROGRESSION of the myopia (nearsightedness) over the years, with the hope of decreasing the person's risk for eye problems such as retinal detachment later in life.

If you know a child age 5 to 12 years old who recently began to wear glasses or was recently identified with a vision problem, please let the parent(s) know about our myopia management services here at Davis Hawley Eyecare!

Apparently some Alcon brand contact lenses are undergoing voluntary recall. This may involve a small number of our patients, so we are passing on the information to see if your lenses may have been affected. This only applies to Alcon Dailies Total 1 lenses, and then only to particular lot numbers.
