Kathleen A. Milbrand, 85, of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Born in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, on August 2, 1940, she was the beloved daughter of Samuel and Marguerite (Propst) Bogar. Kathleen lived a life defined by devotion—to her family, her faith, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a cherished member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, where her quiet strength and kind spirit touched many lives.
She graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 1958. She worked at Commercial Union Insurance Company and retired from the Navy Support Activity in Mechanicsburg.
In her free time, Kathleen enjoyed traveling across the country. She also enjoyed going to the beach and camping with her family.
Kathleen was the loving and devoted wife of Gary L. Milbrand, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Together, they built a family grounded in care, resilience, and deep connection. She was a proud and dedicated mother to Gary S. Milbrand, Cynthia (Milbrand) Allen-Fuss, and Lisa (Milbrand) Goldman. Nothing brought her greater joy than her role as a grandmother to nine grandchildren and a great-grandmother to one, each of whom she loved deeply.
Kathleen will be remembered for her warmth, her steady presence, and the way she made others feel cared for and valued. Her love was constant, her faith unwavering, and her impact lasting.
A service of remembrance will be held at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 4200 Market St., Camp Hill, PA on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 2PM. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 1PM-2PM at St. Timothy Lutheran Church. Born November 19, 1941, Donnie attended the Susquehanna Township High School. He loved music of all eras, and genres. He deeply enjoyed spending weekends at his camper at the Circle B Campground and boating/fishing at Raystown Lake with his children, grandchildren, and friends.
