📑🗣️ Financial Clairification on the Faithful Horizons - Red Lion Transformation

I wanted to take a moment to answer a few questions that have come up around the financial side of what we’re doing with Faithful Horizons

Our vision to transform the former Red Lion in Renton into a transitional rehabilitation and recovery facility is NOT dependent on taxpayer funding — in fact, it’s designed to reduce the taxpayer burden.

Here’s how it works:

💠 Privately & Sustainably Funded — The majority of costs will be supported by private donations, grants, program revenue, and my own for-profit construction companies contributing resources and labor.

💠 No New Tax Burden — We’re not asking the City or County to fund the program. Our goal is to take an unused property and turn it into something that serves the community without creating new expenses.

💠 Reducing Public Costs — The mission of Faithful Horizons is to save taxpayer money long-term by reducing law enforcement calls, ER visits, incarceration rates, and the need for public benefits — while also helping protect local businesses from theft, break-ins, and property loss through prevention, rehabilitation, and community stabilization. Our focus is on helping people rebuild lives and become self-supporting members of the community, which strengthens Renton as a whole.

✨ This is about restoring people, revitalizing our city, and reducing the strain on public systems — creating hope and stability for everyone.

💜 Recovery in Action — Standing Together for Hope & Healing

On Tuesday, November 18, I’ll be attending Recovery in Action, hosted by the Washington Recovery Alliance and the King County Recovery Coalition at the Hilton Seattle Airport & Conference Center.

This event brings together community leaders, providers, and organizations who believe in the power of recovery — not just as a concept, but as a movement that transforms lives and strengthens communities.

At Faithful Horizons, we are fighting every day to make that transformation a reality in Renton — turning the former Red Lion Hotel into a faith-based transitional rehabilitation and recovery center that restores lives, reduces taxpayer burden, and helps rebuild our city from the inside out.

I’m grateful to be among so many passionate advocates who share this mission. Together, we are moving recovery from conversation to action — creating safer neighborhoods, stronger families, and renewed hope. 💫

🚧 Faithful Horizons | Renton Transformation Project 🚧

We are in the process of securing and restoring the former Red Lion Hotel on Grady Way — turning it into a secure, structured transformation center for individuals ready to rebuild their lives with faith, purpose, and personal responsibility.

This program is designed to:

✅ Reduce crime and nuisance activity in the area
✅ Provide job placement, workforce readiness, & life skills
✅ Strengthen families and restore community
✅ Lift the tax burden off Renton as quickly as possible
✅ Create safe, healthy, self-supporting members of society

This is not a shelter.
This is not a drop-in site.
This is purpose-driven transformation with accountability.

💔 This is exactly why Faithful Horizons exists.
⚠️WE HAVE TO SAVE OUR PEOPLE - TO SAVE OUR STATE ⚠️

The image below is hard to look at — but it’s our reality.
Washington now ranks among the highest states in the entire nation for crime.

This isn’t just about crime statistics — it’s about broken hearts, unhealed trauma, addiction, homelessness, behavioral health crises, and su***de. These numbers are the outcomes of pain that’s been left untreated for far too long.

At Faithful Horizons, we believe healing must start at the root cause — with the trauma. That’s why we are building:

🌿 Faithful Horizons Equine-Assisted Rehabilitation Ranch in Enumclaw — a place where individuals and families can find real healing through connection with horses, and Christ.

🏨 The Healing and Restoration Center at the Renton Red Lion — a place of hope and transformation for those ready to rebuild their lives from the inside out.

‼ ‼ We have to stop waiting for the system to fix what only community and compassion can. We must come together — as neighbors, as leaders, as people of faith — to create spaces that restore hearts before they turn into headlines. ‼ ‼

The numbers prove it — Washington needs change.
Faithful Horizons is that change.

🚨🔥 FAITHFUL HORIZONS: NEXT GOD-SIZED VISION 🔥🚨

Today, God revealed something incredible. The former Red Lion Hotel in Renton — sitting unused since 2022 — is a $36 million building that’s been waiting for purpose. King County owns it, and their original housing project is no longer moving forward…

And I believe, with every ounce of my being, that this could be the next chapter for Faithful Horizons. 🙏

This is not replacing our Enumclaw ranch — that’s our heart, our healing ground, and the place where lives are rebuilt from the inside out. 🌿

But this… THIS is how we reach the masses.

✨ Imagine walking into what used to be a hotel and finding a restoration center instead:
🕊 A place to receive therapy and healing.
💪 A place to learn life skills and build stability.
👩‍👧 A place for parents to reunite with their children.
❤️‍🔥 A place to rediscover faith, purpose, and hope.

Every floor filled not with despair — but with deliverance. Not with fear — but with faith.

This vision is bigger than me, but God-sized dreams always are.
And I know deep in my spirit… this is what we’re meant to do next. 💙
