Seven years ago, Lisa's heart stopped. The helicopter was about to leave without her. Then every monitor flickered back to life. "Prepare for flight."

A ruptured brain aneurysm. Two more aneurysms. A major stroke during surgery. 147 days in the hospital. Doctors said she'd likely never walk or speak again.

Today, Lisa walks into Hartz NeuroRehabilitation—talking, laughing, and working toward what once seemed impossible.

With our OT Emily Beck, Lisa is pursuing VNS Therapy to restore movement to her arm. She started near zero on the Fugl-Meyer scale. Last week? She scored a 13. Her goal of 15 is now within reach.

But what moves us most is watching Robert and Lisa through this journey together. His unwavering dedication. Her determination. Their love after 42 years of marriage has inspired our entire office.

Robert and Lisa are moving south soon, and while we'll miss them dearly, we're so grateful to have been part of their story.

Emily, Robert, and Lisa—thank you for reminding us why we do what we do.

Expected casualties from Super Bowl Sunday:
🔴 Neck strains - from yelling at the refs through the TV
