The City of Ephrata’s Hot Spots Shooting Competition is THIS SATURDAY, January 10th!
At the EHS New Gym
11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
FREE admission!
Divisions:
• Girls 6-9 / Girls 10-13
• Boys 6-9 / Boys 10-13

Each participant gets three one-minute attempts to post their best score. And here’s the exciting part — winners from each division get to show off their skills during HALFTIME of a varsity Tiger basketball game!

A big THANK YOU to Ephrata Parks and Recreation for creating opportunities like this for our young athletes. Events like Hot Spots help build skills, confidence, and a love for the game in our community’s next generation of hoopers.

Looking for youth and adult summer hoops excitement? Sage-n-Sun's 3-on-3 tournament is back!!!!

The Ephrata Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce that we’re bringing back the 3v3 basketball tournament that was once a staple of Basin Summer Sounds! This exciting outdoor tournament will now take place during the Sage-N-Sun Festival on June
13-14, bringing fast-paced competition and community spirit to the heart of the event.

To register, the team representative must create an account through our CivicPlus Rec1 system:

Division Requirements: Each division must have at least six teams to run. If a division does not meet this requirement, teams can choose to move up to the next division or withdraw and receive a refund.

Attention local hoopers! Grab your shoes, bring your A-Game and show off your best shot at the EHS Main Gym for a fun basketball shooting contest! Hosted by Ephrata Parks & Rec, for boys and girls ages 6-13. See you Saturday!

HOT SPOTS SHOOTING COMPETITION

This is a free event for boys and girls ages 6-13 to see who has the best shot in Ephrata. Come down to the Ephrata High School New Gym on January 11th between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. for your chance to participate.

There will be a form that needs to be filled out prior to participation handed out to your child at school this week. If you forget or lose the form you can grab an extra from our office at 112 Basin St SW or fill out a form when you get to the gym the day of the event.

The top two hoopsters from each age group will have the chance to compete against each other at the halftime of the high school varsity games on January 14th!

This is a great opportunity for those wanting to learn the fundamentals and basic skills to play the game of basketball. This is also a great opportunity for those who have played before to play with new teammates and put their skills to the test against new teams.
