Gretchen didn't have her phone upstairs, but we traveled to Japan today anyway! Around the World with Gretchen. We discussed horse meat as a delicacy in Japan, morning food trucks on the way to work in Japan, ordering Chinese takeout, and even a little mention of Middle Eastern food and it's fragrant spices. We tried crunchy seaweed snacks, chili pepper, ramen snacks, black sesame biscuits, chocolate of course, and then ended with strawberry cream cookies. An interesting fact, it's a popular trend in Japan right now to have a singing toilet...fancy that lol!

It was our Easter Bunny party today....hippity hoppity for the day! There was an egg hunt earlier in the day and then party time. We found out who is the most like the Easter Bunny and had homemade cupcakes and peanut butter eggs along with some more games. Everyone had good time and Donna did a great job leading the party!

We just shared a Seder plate to recognize Passover and the Jewish people's exile out of Egypt and slavery. Moses said, "let my people go!" Gretchen had a Jewish boss and Co worker in NYC and was invited to her home for a Seder meal. It is a special memory Gretchen likes to share with the residents here at The Groves! We tried ground lamb, a matzah ball and wafer, and a mixture of chopped apples, walnuts, and honey. Everyone said they enjoyed it. Nothing wrong with trying something different!
