It is with great sadness we share the news of the unexpected loss of our Western, New York Operations Manager, Jennifer Carpenter. Jennifer joined our team in May 2019 instructing courses primarily at our Rochester, Buffalo, Erie and Cleveland locations. Jennifer also joined our friends at the Brighton Volunteer Ambulance in December of 2019 providing training in and around the Town of Brighton and greater Rochester.

Jennifer's passion was healthcare education, with the strongest being, to serve others through teaching life saving skills. Jennifer dedicated herself to teaching and leading classes all over New York, Pennsylvania, and North Western Ohio. She made an even larger impact by offering free community based CPR education through our Heartsafe WNY CPR foundation. From the date of her hire, Jennifer instructed over 700 students in American Heart Association Hands only CPR. She also helped educate an additional 250+ home health aides across Western & Central New York through our partners with Healthcare Workers Rising.

The ECC community has lost an invaluable educator. Our organization has lost a member of its family.
