Hi, I’m Elyse.
I grew up just outside Chicago in northwest Indiana, but five years ago the mountains called—and Colorado quickly became home. Since moving here, I’ve built a supportive community, completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and am now pursuing my Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision.
As a counselor, I aim to create a space where vulnerability feels safe and clients feel supported diving into the deeper layers of their experiences. I work from an attachment-informed lens, recognizing how relationships shape identity, connection, and healing. My approach blends Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, person-centered care, and holistic practices, including movement-based work influenced by my background as a dancer.
I work with a wide range of clients and particularly enjoy supporting those navigating neurodivergence, relationship concerns (individuals and couples), grief, and religious trauma. My goal is always to meet clients where they are and offer care that honors both their strengths and their nervous system.
Outside the counseling room, you’ll find me at concerts, paddleboarding, playing pickleball, reading fantasy novels, or discovering new coffee shops to study in.
Reach out if we can help you to connect with Elyse!
