Had a great time today at REMARCABLE. The MARC is near and dear to me. I met a lot of great people there learning to play hockey and it’s always great to catch up. Was awesome talking brain health with folks and what Flagship Neuropsychology has to offer. Until next year!

Flagship Neuropsychology turned 3 this month! I’m grateful for all of the support. We’ve done some big things since opening including working with so many amazing patients, including pro-bono cases, giving lectures to local hospitals, sponsoring local youth sports teams/centers, events, and nonprofits helping animals, and starting a scholarship for Sylvie that help our young people pursue higher education. Can’t wait for what the future has in store for- stay tuned!

Last week I had the honor of being invited to McDowell High School to present the second annual Sylvia Rose Memorial Scholarship to student Claire Faulhaber. It was wonderful to meet her and talk about how this scholarship, in Sylvie’s name and legacy, will aid her in her college pursuits at the University of Dayton. Sylvie will and has undoubtedly touched and benefited so many lives in ways we do not know or cannot fully understand and that is the sole purpose of this scholarship. We love you, Sylvie.

Yesterday, Dr. Matthew Weaver and I took 16 students to the Cummings Center for the History of Psychology on the campus of the University of Akron. The trip included touring the museum, an interactive workshop using archival records (some dating back to the 1840s), and a social hour. We thank the Center for their hospitality and would especially like to recognize Dorothy Gruich and Dr. Kevin Kaut for making this day possible!
