❄️ Winter Discovery Day Update ❄️

Winter is definitely making itself known this weekend. With strong winds and dangerously cold wind chills expected along the lake, we’re making a few thoughtful adjustments to Winter Discovery Day to keep everyone safe and comfortable.

🧣 Proper winter gear is essential — no exposed skin
🔥 Fires and warming spaces will be available
🏠 Indoor cabins will be open for warm-up breaks
⏱️ We encourage short visits and plenty of time indoors

Due to the extreme cold and wind chill, the sled dog demonstration will not take place.

Some outdoor activities may be limited or adjusted based on conditions, and families should use their best judgment when deciding to attend. If you’re a winter diehard, we’ll be there, and if this weekend’s cold is a bit too much, we completely understand and look forward to welcoming you at a future event.

National Children's Dental Health Month is Here!

We want to encourage our members to reach out to their communities to educate children during NCDHM and to local elementary schools about entering our annual poster contest for third graders. Submissions will be accepted until Friday, February 27.
