In honor of the holidays, the KAS office is closed today, Tuesday, December 23rd, and will remain closed through the New Year.

IMPORTANT UPDATE – Social Group TONIGHT is CANCELLED

Due to the winter weather and out of an abundance of caution for everyone’s safety, we have decided to cancel tonight’s Social Group at LECOM Senior Living.

Please stay warm, stay cozy, and stay indoors unless you absolutely have to go out. We don’t want anyone taking unnecessary risks in these conditions.

We’ll really miss hearing your voices and the Christmas carols tonight, but your safety comes first! We’ll get that caroling in very soon.

Bundle up, enjoy a hot cup of tea or cocoa, and we’ll see you next week for the Christmas Gathering at Cracker Barrell!

One of the most beautiful things about our KAS family is discovering the hidden talents and passions each participant carries in their heart. ♥️

Kiki, one of our amazing participants, spent a couple of her afternoons filling the KAS office with the smell of fresh cookies and the most perfect pumpkin bread! She’s not just making treats; she’s reminding all of us how creative and absolutely wonderful she is. 🤩🍪

Last Friday, we hosted our Annual KAS Halloween Party and it was an absolute blast! 🎊

Our incredible participants brought their A-game with the most creative costumes—from Mario to warriors, witches to clowns, and everything in between! 🧙‍♀️🦸‍♂️

The energy, laughter, and spooky spirit filled the room!

Under our spotlight this week is Apryl, a young and generous girl whose art fundraiser back in August raised an incredible $423.24. Out of her kindess, Apryl generously chose to donate all the raised funds to KAS. 🫶

We are extremely grateful for her kindness and dedication, which will help our participants continue to thrive in our Thursday night social group.
