The Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) offers the Veterans Temporary Assistance Program, providing up to $1,600 over 12 months to help cover essential needs like food, shelter, fuel, and clothing for veterans and their families. 📞 Call PA 211. Available 24/7, 211 connects you to local resources in your community, including: emergency transportation, wellness checks, heating and utility assistance, food and meal support, and disability-related services.

You can dial 211, visit pa211.org, or use chat options if calling is difficult. If you are ever in immediate danger, always call 911.
