☀️ SUN Spotlight: Wendy Blair Harrod, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC ☀️

Meet Wendy Blair Harrod, a dedicated provider at our SUN Lexington Outpatient Center who brings compassion, expertise, and a deep commitment to patient-centered care.

Wendy began her nursing career in 2006 and has built an impressive clinical foundation across a variety of healthcare settings. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Frontier Nursing University and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In 2019, she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), with research focused on improving care for individuals with HIV and Hepatitis in public health syringe exchange programs.

Driven by her passion for mental health, Wendy went on to earn her Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) certification and is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Today, she provides care for adults, adolescents, and children with psychiatric challenges. She also treats adults and adolescents with substance use disorders or co-occurring conditions, helping patients navigate recovery with dignity and support.

We are grateful to have Wendy’s expertise and heart as part of the SUN team! 💛
