It is with sadness that Pioneer Memorial Care Center discharged its last resident this morning.
Pioneer Memorial Care Center (PMCC) was founded in 1951 and has served the area's elderly and disabled for 72 years.
PMCC was founded and supported by many area churches and served our area well for all of these years. The facility impacted many residents families and staff for these past 72 years.
As we close the Care Center we want to thank the former residents, families, staff, and board members who were part of the loving environment that was provided for the residents that were entrusted to our care.
We also want to thank the many volunteers, organizations, and individuals who supported the Care Center over the years and enhanced the lives of the people we served!

While the skilled nursing facility has closed PMCC continues its mission and focus to care for our area’s elderly through our continued operation of our Assisted Living Facilities – Crossroads and The Country Place.
These facilities will continue to operate and care for our area residents.

Again, we want to thank all of you who had loved ones in our care, the families, the staff, and the board members who have served this community for so many years!

Hello,
Pioneer Memorial Care Center is holding a Career Fair for our employees today from 1:30p-3:30p. We have 10+ organizations attending and would like to extend the invitation to our community members. If there are any community members in search of employment please stop in and take a walk through all these wonderful local employment booths!

Our hearts are broken everyday watching these beautiful souls take on their next journey in life. We all were such a tight family. It is very hard to walk away from what I thought was going to be my forever employment, but as we all take on our next journeys just remember we all were a GREAT team.

Even in these times of sadness we need to give Thanks to our Lord. We will continue to have church services and all until the day we say farewell to our last family member.

With a heavy heart we had to give our residents one last time with their favorite band the H***y Tonk boys . We also rolled the red carpet for the exist of PMCC to their new homes. We love all of you so much.

We are so excited to celebrate the mothers and grandmothers in our community and in our nursing home on Mother's Day from 9:00 am-1:00 pm at Pioneer Memorial Care Center. The menu looks will be muffins, ham, bacon, sausage, fruit, scrambled eggs, and non-alcoholic mimosas. It will cost $12.00 per person. hope to see you here!

Here at Pioneer Memorial Care Center, we strive to do our best for our residents. We are asking for some donations of men's and women's electric shavers, bingo prizes, and puzzles of 300-500 pieces. This beautiful butterfly puzzle was a group effort by residents and staff.

We had a great day at PMCC celebrating St. Patty’s Day. From a corn beef cabbage dinner to a party w green cake and games. Thanks to all the families who joined in with their loved ones. We really appreciate all of you.
