This time of year I notice something tender in a lot of the people who come through my door. Not just tired bodies, but tired hearts. Winter has a way of turning us inward.

My latest piece I share gentle ways to nourish a little more deeply. Not to rush the process, but to let the nervous system settle, like a bird in its nest, so the heart can breathe again.

In this article, I share patterns I’m noticing in the clinic—common ways tender, hardworking bodies adapt as the circle of the year unfolds.

More than a list of symptoms, this is an invitation to notice how the season may be influencing your energy, mood, and resilience, and how working with that rhythm can feel more supportive than pushing through it.

In winter, trusting that rest is what we need in this season becomes a form of self care.

Who has been feeling achy??
So many ppl reporting migraines and arthritis/ lupus/ Lyme flares this week!

The Aches/Pains Index is HIGH for tomorrow into Monday thanks to some big swings in pressure ahead. These types of changes and big cold fronts can bring aches to bones, headaches, arthritis and other medical issues like fibromyalgia and autoimmune diseases can rise. It can even make you a little moodier than normal.

Prioritize your self care because this is going to be a rough stretch of days for some of you. I'm sure even some of you can feel it already tonight!
