Today we are celebrated a HUGE accomplishment — 10 amazing years of Monica being part of the Governor’s Bend family!
Monica is truly one of a kind. She pays attention to every little detail and to every resident’s needs. Many times, she knows what they need before they even say a word. That kind of heart, dedication, and compassion cannot be taught. It’s simply who she is. 💙
For a full decade, Monica has blessed our residents, supported her coworkers, and built meaningful relationships with families. She is loved and appreciated by so many, and Governor’s Bend is better because of her.
Monica, thank you for your commitment, your kindness, and your servant’s heart. 10 years is an incredible accomplishment, and we are so proud to celebrate you!

From laughter-filled games and creative crafts to music, dancing, and special celebrations....we sure do love activities around here!
Activities aren’t just something to do… they are the heart of our assisted living community. They bring joy, purpose, connection, and meaningful moments to our residents every single day. 💕
Staying active keeps minds engaged, bodies moving, and friendships growing. And seeing those smiles? That’s what truly makes us happy.
Life is meant to be lived — and we live it to the fullest around here! 🎉

More Valentine’s Day fun from yesterday! Honestly, there are too many sweet photos to fit in just one post! ❤️
We absolutely loved spoiling our residents with the most fun-filled day. From laughter to smiles to special moments, it was a celebration full of joy! And it looks like Kimberly has LOTS of Valentines this year! 💌💐
A huge thank you to Erica and Amber for creating the cutest Valentine’s backdrop for everyone to enjoy. It made the day even more special!
We love our residents not just on Valentine’s Day, but every single day. ❤️

Our day before Valentine’s Day was filled with so much love, laughter, and sweet moments we’ll never forget! 💌
From special singing telegrams to our heartfelt Love Awards, our residents were showered with appreciation all day long. 💖 Chocolate candy hearts were passed around, the dance floor stayed busy, and there were truly too many smiles and laughs to count!
And of course… so many warm hugs. 🤗
Days like today remind us how blessed we are to share life, joy, and love with the most amazing residents.

We have had the best time getting in the Valentine's spirit! From making crafts, playing games, decorating cookies, and creating our own icecream sundaes...it has been so much fun watching our residents enjoy every moment.

Today, our amazing dietary staff treated everyone to a special dining experience featuring delicious shrimp scampi and blackened salmon, topped off with a sweet strawberry lasagna desert!

We truly love spoiling our residents and making them feel extra loved. Be sure to follow along, we have even more special fun planned for them this week!

She always comes prepared with the funnest crafts for our residents. Her creativity shines in every activity she brings, and she has such a special way of making each project both meaningful and full of joy.
