Administrative Assistant/Case Technician - Marquette

UPCAP is currently seeking applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant/Case Technician for our Marquette location. This position can be remote or from the office, based on work requirements.

Position is responsible for:

Supporting the Marquette Care Management staff by performing ongoing entry and maintenance of date into the appropriate system

Bill processing and verification

Daily organization and operations of the care management office (assisting with phone calls, filing, chart set-up, etc)

Minimum requirements:

Candidate must possess a minimum of a High School Diploma, an Associates’ Degree in Human Services or Information Systems preferred

A minimum of 2 years experience working in a business office or medical office setting

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong knowledge of databases, Microsoft Office products and internet communications

Have the ability to work effectively with detailed and confidential information

Working knowledge of the health related service delivery system and community resources.

Applicants MUST pass a criminal background check and have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Position includes a competitive wage with a comprehensive fringe benefit package. About UPCAP

UPCAP’s purpose and objectives shall be to promote the development of the human, social, and community resources of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan through the following activities:


  • Serving as the Upper Peninsula Area Agency on Aging, a regional coordinating body, advocate, and focal point for aging services and aging resources to senior citizens in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

  • Providing technical assistance and services to public and non-profit bodies, business enterprises and individuals who wish to utilize assistance provided by federal and state programs for human and economic development and by providing assistance to other persons and bodies in activities which promote the development of the Upper Peninsula.
