Hello, I am Dr. Brian Moravec,
Or as I am better known by my patients… Dr. Brian. It is hard for me to believe that I am going on my 20th year serving the community at Delta Chiropractic Associates, and living here in Escanaba – it has definitely become my home. I love it here and I absolutely love being a Yooper! Patients often ask about my background so here is a brief overview. I grew up in Eagle River, Wisconsin where my primary interests revolved around sports and the outdoors. My desire to become a chiropractor arose from a back injury I suffered during a water skiing accident. My chiropractor at the time told me about the benefits of chiropractic care that go beyond back and neck pain. I admit that at that time I was skeptical about his claim, but soon I found that those benefits were indeed true. What my chiropractor did not know was that I also suffered from re-occurring ear, nose and throat infections. After receiving consistent chiropractic care, I no longer suffered from those conditions. I went on to attend Chiropractic College and I am a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree as well as my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College, which is the first chiropractic college in the world and the origin of our profession. I also attend continuing education seminars designed to keep doctors current with regard to clinical chiropractic, technique and nutrition. The key to overall health and wellness is to have a healthy nervous system and that is what I do as a chiropractor – I make sure that your spine is functioning at its best so that your nervous system functions at its best. When the nervous system is functioning at 100%, you are a healthier individual that experiences a higher quality of life and health. I know this to be true in myself, my family and my patients. I go to great lengths to provide my patients with the best chiropractic care I can give. I work with my patients to design a treatment plan that will be effective for their particular condition and specific to their needs. We utilize manual and low force techniques (safe and effective for newborns to seniors), to correct sublaxations in the spine. Chiropractic adjustments remove nerve interference, which allows the body to perform at its best again. I also am available for consultations on nutrition and diet, dietary supplementation and how to minimize the wear and tear on your spine. I have chosen to devote my life to chiropractic because I want to make a difference in the quality of people’s lives and their health. After seeing the benefits of Chiropractic care myself, I want everyone I come in contact with to experience the same kind of health freedom my family and I enjoy. She started working with me in 2003 as my assistant and she immediately developed a strong passion for health & well being. She has now moved into the role of Billing Specialist. Please let her know if you have any questions regarding your insurance coverage. Brent Martin is our Certified Massage Therapist on Staff and has been here for approximately 12 years. He has been a long time resident of Escanaba. He received his certification in Massage Therapy in December of 2004 from the Marquette School of Therapeutic Massage. Brent specializes in Deep Tissue massage, Swedish massage, Reflexology, pre/after sports massage, relaxation massage, and Reiki. We look forward to serving you and seeing you soon!
