Growth is in the Air Across Our Communities! 🌿✨

Spring has officially sprung, and our communities are absolutely buzzing with green-thumb energy! From one patio to the next, our Gardening Program is in full bloom, and the results are spectacular.

A huge highlight this season comes from Vista del Lago, where we are incredibly lucky to have a resident who is a former professional gardener. With their expert guidance, the planter boxes are overflowing with a “chef’s garden” of oregano, thyme, cilantro, rosemary, and basil—not to mention the strawberries and tomatoes! 🍓🍅

But the inspiration doesn’t stop there. Swipe through to see how our other communities are getting their hands dirty! From vibrant floral displays that brighten our outdoor living spaces 🌸 to the shared laughter during planting sessions, these gardens are about so much more than just plants.

There’s nothing quite like the simple joy of time spent in the fresh air. Whether it’s the focused care of watering the garden beds, the satisfaction of harvesting sun-ripened fruit, or simply finding a peaceful corner to sit and soak it all in, our residents are the ones truly enjoying everything these spaces have to offer.

From steady strolls along the winding paths to vibrant afternoons spent among the flowers, it’s wonderful to see everyone taking it all in and enjoying life in full bloom. 🌸

Happy Earth Day! 🌎 Today is such an important reminder to pause and appreciate the natural beauty that sustains us.

To celebrate, our residents from Bayshire Carlsbad headed to the iconic Carlsbad Flower Fields to immerse themselves in 50 acres of vibrant Ranunculus. 🌸

At Bayshire we believe that staying connected to nature is vital for the soul and a beautiful way to honor our planet. We’re feeling extra grateful for this colorful corner of the world we call home! ✨

Blue Skies and Brave Hearts ✈️

We were honored to partner with to see 8 of our veteran residents from Bayshire Riverwalk take to the skies for the experience of a lifetime.

There is something truly powerful about seeing our heroes back in the cockpit. They flew in “The Spirit of the Pacific,” a historic 1943 Boeing Stearman. Knowing this plane originally served the U.S. Navy made the journey even more meaningful, connecting our veterans to a legacy they helped build.

A massive thank you to the Kern County Fire Department, the Mayor of Bakersfield, and Honor Flight Kern County for your incredible support. It took a village to make this day possible, and we are so proud to be part of a community that shows up for its veterans.
