✨ Follow the Yellow Brick Road! ✨

Residents and families were invited to step into the magical world of Oz for a Wizard of Oz–themed dinner! 🌈💫

It was an enchanting evening filled with delicious food, laughter, and friendship. In a land not so far away—where dreams come true and adventure awaits—guests joined us for a dinner party straight out of the wonderful world of Oz!

Everyone was encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Oz character—whether it was the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, or even the Wicked Witch of the West. 💚

The night was full of whimsical dishes, joyful conversation, and a few magical surprises along the way.

There’s truly no place like home when it comes to celebrating together! ❤️👠

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes at Vista del Lago Memory Care 🇺🇸

On Veterans Day we gathered to honor the brave men and women who have served our nation in uniform. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication safeguard the freedoms we cherish every day.

At Vista del Lago Memory Care, we proudly recognized each of our resident Veterans with a Veteran’s Recognition Pin, a heartfelt handshake, and a certificate or small token of appreciation to thank them for their service.

We are deeply grateful for your commitment and the legacy of strength you’ve left behind. Today and every day, we remember that freedom isn’t free—and we salute all who have worn the uniform with pride. ❤️💙

🎭🌹 A Night to Remember in the Shadows of the Opera House 🌹🎭

Our residents were transported into an evening of intrigue and elegance during our Dining Destination inspired by the Broadway classic, Phantom of the Opera. 🎶✨

Vista Del Lago set the stage with the enchanting ambiance of an opera house, the mystery of the Phantom’s world, and the opulence of 19th-century Paris. Red roses adorned every table — a beautiful nod to the Phantom’s iconic rose tied with a black ribbon. 🌹🖤

It was truly a night to remember, filled with music, sophistication, and a touch of theatrical magic! 🎼🍷

We had a Spooky Pet Therapy experience with Critters Encounter, where the unusual meets the unforgettable. 🦎💀 From slithering snakes to mysterious mini beasts, these eerie animals bring both thrills and therapeutic chills!

Perfect for those brave enough to cuddle up with the creepy and find calm in the curious. 🕸️✨

🎃👻 Spooky Fun Across Generations at Vista del Lago! 👻🎃

At Vista del Lago Memory Care, we believe that joy knows no age — and our latest intergenerational program proved just that! 🧡

Children and residents came together for a festive afternoon of creativity, laughter, and connection, building spooky gingerbread haunted houses, carving (and painting!) pumpkins, and sharing delicious Halloween treats. 🏚️🎨🍬

These seasonal celebrations are more than just fun — they foster creativity, cooperation, and meaningful relationships between generations. Watching little hands and experienced hearts work together was a true reminder of the magic that happens when we bring our community together.

This Halloween season, our amazing staff and directors got into the spooky spirit with a Boo Basket Gift Exchange! 🧺💀

Each participant brought a spooktacular themed gift or treat bag to surprise a fellow teammate — spreading laughter, goodies, and a little Halloween magic throughout our community! From creepy candies to frightfully fun trinkets, the creativity was off the charts. 🎁🕸️

It’s just one more way we celebrate each other and build the strong, spirited team that makes our community so special! 🧡🖤

🎉🍂 Oktoberfest Celebration at Vista Del Lago! 🍂🎉

We brought the spirit of Germany right to our dining room this week as we celebrated Oktoberfest with our wonderful residents! 🇩🇪✨

The dining room was beautifully decorated with festive touches, and we served up a delicious spread of authentic German food — from bratwurst and sauerkraut to warm pretzels and apple strudel! 🥨🌭🍎

Our residents had a fantastic time enjoying the food, the music, and the cozy fall atmosphere. Moments like these bring joy, connection, and a sense of tradition to our community. 💙

Our amazing residents from Vista del Lago Memory Care had a wonderful fall outing to Bates Nut Farm & Pumpkin Patch this week—and what a day it was! 🎃

From picking out the perfect pumpkins to enjoying the crisp autumn air and scenic surroundings, it was a day filled with laughter, smiles, and sweet seasonal memories. 🍂💛

These moments of joy and connection are what make our community so special. A big thank you to our dedicated team for making outings like this possible!
