Did you know? There are many types of therapy. Each of these are essential to making active changes to improve the quality of life through promoting healthier habits and physical activity.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY (OT): The therapeutic use of self-care, work and play activities to increase independent function, enhance development and prevent disability; may include the adaptation of a task or the environment to achieve maximum independence and to enhance the quality of life. The term occupation, as used in occupational therapy, refers to any activity engaged in for evaluating, specifying and treating problems interfering with functional performance.

PHYSICAL THERAPY (PT): The treatment of disease, injury, or deformity by physical methods such as massage, heat treatment and exercise rather than drugs or surgery.

VISION THERAPY: An umbrella term used for a variety of treatments to develop or improve visual skills and abilities; improve visual comfort, ease, and efficiency; and change visual processing or interpretation of visual information.
