We are looking at add a certified Lactation Consultant to our volunteer team! 😇 Your role: Lead our nursing mom’s support group on Fridays from 10am-12pm. We need someone who can commit to at least 1-2 Fridays/month. We work with women who are in extra need of support and that’s where you come in! You will be answering lactation related questions and helping weigh newborns each week to track progress. It’s such a special way to give back to your community and to new mamas! This patient took the first abortion pill, mifepristone, and immediately felt regret. She felt a pit in her stomach and decided to call the Heartbeat International hotline for an Abortion Pill Reversal. The patient had no ride to the clinic so the nurse that the patient was connected with drove to her home to pick her up, and drove her to the clinic to take the first round of progesterone. The patient then came to our clinic to receive more progesterone and an ultrasound to oversee the APR. She now has a healthy pregnancy and support from family and friends. We are so grateful we could help her choose life. 🫶🏼
