It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the unexpected passing of Miss Lady Beatrice late last night.

Lady was a Tennessee Walking horse, approximately 28 years old. She was a favorite among our riders due to her calm demeanor and gentle presence, and we were fortunate to have her as part of our Motley Crew for the last two and a half years. I am deeply grateful to her family for their donation and for the privilege of caring for her during her final years.

Lady will be buried on the property here at Me & My Shadow. Participants and families are welcome and encouraged to bring treats, flowers, or other items to decorate her grave as we mourn her loss.

Please feel free to reach out if you need support during this time of grieving. We miss her already!
