Crawling is more than just a milestone. It’s an important step in the overall development of children. Skipping the crawling stage has even led to issues in speech later on.

For years, I’ve been teaching parents how to encourage their children to crawl, whether it’s by driving cars or tractors on the floor or crawling through tunnels and peeking at them from the other end to encourage them to crawl towards you.

If your child is skipping milestones or not reaching them when they should, maybe it’s time to get the little one checked out!
