Celebrating the Life of Benjamin Anthony Brooks

Today we honor and celebrate the life of Benjamin Anthony Brooks. He was affectionately known to some as Slim and to others as Pap. Although, his life appears to be brief, the family grieves his absence and take comfort in knowing that to be absence from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Please keep the family in prayer as they adjust to a life without this kind hearted and lovable individual who will always be remembered in their hearts.

Celebrating the Life of Priscilla Gadson Reed

Today, we honor and celebrate, the life of the late Priscilla Gadson Reed. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. We honor her service as a missionary who focus on the spiritual lives of those individuals she encountered daily. As the family bid their final farewell, we pray that they will remember these words found in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” Missionary Reed lived this commandment wholeheartedly, touching lives everywhere she went.

Although, her family grieves her absence, they take comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of the Lord, where there is no pain, only peace and joy." Today, we honor her by continuing her mission of love and service.

To know Ernestine Mitchell was to experience kindness and agape love. Although, she lived the years God promised her, which was three scores and ten, she was given an additional 10 years of life because of her faith, strength, and the love she showed to those that she encountered whether young or old. She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith.
