Quail Crest staff and residents joined in wearing red to support “Go RED” day friday.
The American Heart Association’s signature initiative, Go Red for Women®, is a comprehensive platform designed to increase women’s heart health awareness and serve as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally. While the majority of cardiac events can be prevented, cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in women, claiming the lives of 1 in 3 women. For more than two decades, Go Red for Women has encouraged awareness. The movement harnesses the energy, passion and power of women to band together and collectively wipe out heart disease.

This week at Quail Crest memory care we celebrate National Activity Professionals week.
At the heart of our community, the activities team brings joy, connection and purpose to each day. Their creativity and dedication ensure our residents not only stay engaged, but also feel truly celebrated and valued. From lively group events to meaningful one on one moments, they help transform ordinary days into enjoyable experiences.

October Employee of the Month - Katie B, Care Partner

For the past six years, Katie has been a steady, reliable presence in our community. Her calm demeanor and quick thinking make her a trusted teammate, and her warmth shines through in every interaction with residents. A coworker shared “She’s a dependable team member who brings solid knowledge and compassion to her resident care. She’s also very diligent in training and consistently helps new hires feel welcomed and supported” and as another coworker beautifully put it:
"Katie is a phenomenal caregiver. She’s able to face anything thrown at her on the floor and the residents all adore her. We’re incredibly lucky to have her on our team."
We couldn’t agree more—congratulations and thank you for your years of dedication and heart!

Quail Crest Residents, Families and Staff all enjoyed our annual Spirit Week held during National Caregiver Week. Each day had a new theme and activities planned. We love seeing everyone having a good time. Thank you to everyone that planned and put together each days activities.

Berta, Care Partner

We are proud to recognize Berta as Quail Crest’s September Employee of the Month! Berta has been a dedicated Care Partner at Quail Crest for nearly a decade, and her commitment to our residents and team shines every day.
One of her supervisors shares:
“I’ve worked with Berta for nine years, and she’s one of the most dependable and reliable people I know. She goes above and beyond for the community, she’s a trooper, a true team player, and she’ll pick up any shift, anywhere, without hesitation.”
Another supervisor adds:
“Berta is great! Even when she’s having a hard day, she puts on a smile for the residents and doesn’t falter. She is kind, welcoming, and always goes out of her way for a hug. She’s always flexible and willing to help out, and I’m glad she’s part of the team.”

Quail Crest Memory Care is thankful for our Residents and their wonderful supportive families. It was a good day to come together with good food, families and friends. We are grateful to many of our staff who came in on their day off to be a part of this special day. We are blessed to have the opportunity to love and care for the Residents at Quail Crest, and pause to remember those who are no longer with us.
We hope each of you had a blessed Thanksgiving.

Thank you for your dedication and service to our residents and our community. We celebrate the men and women that are the first responders in a time of need. Fire, Police, EMT’s. We appreciate all you do. Today Quail Crest Memory Care served a hot breakfast to Eugene,Springfield Fire District, stations 11 and 7, along with Lane Fire Authority Station 115.
