AHIMSA = NONHARMING 🧡 ... and it's an integral part of yoga! Kids in ACY's summer camp get an introduction to yoga beyond the poses... & I'm honored to be helping out this week for the last summer camp session of the season.

Where? Asheville Community Yoga
When? June 24 – 28 | 8:30am – 3:00pm

Pre-registration required. No drop ins or partial days. Ages 5-10 years old.

There's still ONE more kids yoga camp session left for the summer!

Each day offers a combination of unique and delightful practices where children will build self awareness and connect with others through social interactions. Children will move, stretch, dance and access their creativity and playfulness as they engage in yoga themed activities and games.

ALL classes at ACY are by DONATION-ONLY 🧡☀

This is truly one of my favorite things about Asheville Community Yoga. It truly is accessible for ALL, regardless of their ability to pay. The whole community is run by volunteers and the studio itself is a nonprofit. It is a HEARTFELT space and you can feel that before you even walk through the doors.

📢 Asheville Community Yoga is hosting kids yoga summer camp! ☀

Yoga camp at ACY holistically introduces children to the 8 limbs of yoga in digestible and engaging ways. Summer camp days are filled with a combination of:

Mindfulness
Movement
Yoga games
Activities
Art
Gardening
And more!

Children will connect with their breath, have fun as they move their bodies, and tap into their creativity as they express themselves through music, art, storytelling and nature.

🧡 Miss Whitney is taking the yoga party offline...🧡 now teaching *in person* at Asheville Community Yoga!

I am so pleased to announce that I am officially a part of the teaching team at ACY. I'll be helping out with the youth program and filling in for the Saturday 8:45-9:45am kids class from time to time. I'll also be helping out with the summer camp sessions coming up!
