The Power of Lived Experience

At Restored Connections Peer Center, we believe deeply in the power of lived experience and second chances at life.
For many people, choosing recovery means rebuilding every part of life—relationships, health and purpose. Those who have walked through addiction, the justice system, or other life challenges carry knowledge that cannot be taught in a classroom. That lived experience is often what allows them to connect with and support others who are still struggling.

Our mission is rooted in restoring connection to life. Part of that mission includes creating opportunities for people in recovery to build meaningful life, and contribute to their community in positive ways. When individuals commit to a recovered lifestyle, they do so with hope, courage, and a desire to move forward.

We believe that recovery should open doors, not keep them closed. Communities grow stronger when we allow people the opportunity to heal, learn, and give back.

Second chances change lives and build futures.
