CT scan and MRI: What’s the difference?
While both are vital imaging methods used right here at OIC, they serve very different purposes.
CT scans use X-rays to create detailed cross-sectional images quickly, making them great for bones and detecting internal bleeding.
MRIs use powerful magnets and radio waves to capture highly detailed images of soft tissues like the brain and ligaments.
Your doctor will prescribe the best method based on your specific medical needs!
