On this , we are looking for a Supervisor in our Treatment Foster Care Oregon - The Guidance Center program!

The two main goals of TFCO are to create opportunities for youth to successfully live in a family setting and to simultaneously help parents (or other long-term family resource) provide effective parenting. The Supervisor will be responsible for the administrative and clinical functioning of TFCO Services, which includes all the functions necessary for the delivery of services to the institutions and client populations of the community served by this array of programs.

We are excited to be working with Oakland Family Services to bring the TFCO model to the Pontiac, MI area! Congratulations to the OFS team on adding this evidence-based treatment foster care model into their continuum of services to support youth and families in their community.

Oakland Family Services has launched a new program aimed at helping kids with emotional and behavioral challenges heal and thrive in family homes rather than in institutions. They are looking for foster families to go through the training and certification while paving the way with the new program.....

Först i Sverige med nytt behandlingsprogram för unga! 🎉
Nu har Humanas Göteborg Öppenvård haft sin utbildningsvecka i TFCO-C, ett behandlingsprogram för barn med beteendeproblematik Därmed är de Sveriges första TFCO-C-team!
TFCO (Treatment Fostercare Oregon) är ett evidensbaserat behandlingsprogram som rekommenderas av Socialstyrelsen. Vi är glada att kunna erbjuda programmet för den yngre målgruppen barn med allvarlig och komplex beteendeproblematik. (C:et i TFCO-C står för Child, 7-11 år).

Behandlingen är multisystemisk, det vill säga arbetar med barnets situation i olika miljöer och sammanhang samtidigt. Det innebär att förändringar för barnet, med familj/omsorgsperson, i skolan, på fritiden och med vänner, sker välplanerat och koordinerat. Under tiden bor barnet i en behandlingsfamilj med särskild inriktning och kunskap om TFCO.

Humanas TFCO-team har implementerat, utbildat och handlett i TFCO-tonårsprogram sedan 2000 och är stolta och glada att äntligen kunna erbjuda ett evidensbaserat behandlingsprogram för den yngre målgruppen inom TFCO. En verklig milstolpe!

Trina, Supervisor of Clinical and Implementation Services at TFCC, and Lindy, Consultant at TFCC, visited Bangor, ME and Portland, ME last week to deliver two Deeper Dive events! Together, they led discussions that explored Therapeutic Intensive Home (TIH) project updates and the TFCO model structure, treatment tools, and fidelity. 🎉

This was a valuable opportunity to share and learn about the work the provider agencies have completed, the work completed by the state, and a clinical overview of the TFCO model!

This event was sponsored by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, in collaboration with Maine’s Office of Behavioral Health, Maine’s Office of Children and Family Services, Maine’s Department of Corrections, Acentra Health, provider agencies, and TFC Consultants, Inc.
