“The biggest barrier sometimes is that kids do not feel comfortable at first…”

That’s what 11‑year‑old Lucky* (a nickname chosen by the child), a child supported by OzChild's Treatment Foster Care program, shared with us.

“When something negative happens, it can affect how the child feels, and it builds another barrier.”

In the lead up to World Care Day, we asked Lucky to share his thoughts about why it’s important for children to have a say in programs that are designed for them.

On today's , we are looking for a for our Treatment Foster Care Oregon - The Guidance Center program. If you are passionate about supporting youth and their families to recover and grow stronger together, this program is for you!

The Individual Therapist is responsible for providing mental health treatment and case management services, delivered in the home or community. You will provide weekly individual therapy to TFCO youth utilizing the TFCO treatment model.

Also this position offers a $3,000 sign on bonus!
