We’ve entered a Fire cycle on the planet. As we navigate Fire Horse energy over the next 20 years, it’s important that we remember the power of relationship. Relationship with each other, relationship with the planet, & relationship with the elements themselves.

As we work with Fire, remember:
☀️we’re also working with shadows and darkness
☀️to cultivate a reservoir of inner Water
☀️that responsible Fire stewardship requires a balance of Earth and Air

But throughout it all, remember that it’s okay to HOPE for something better! If we are to midwife a new world into being, we must start with important conversations about what matters. If you find yourself seeking community that supports a matriarchal, community-centered vision of what can be (while also supporting the grieving, accepting, and integrating process in between), we invite you to explore our monthly study groups on Patreon. This conversation continues on Patreon outside of our study groups as well (and it’s free to join in):

In this Collaborative Insight Episode, our team came together to talk about the heaviness of the world lately, and the ways community can be an important light in the darkness during times like these.

This short clip offers insight from CSC’s Emily Overland, and the conversation continues on Patreon. You can watch the full 17 minute discussion here (it’s FREE!):

Your nervous system is the lens through which you see the world. These days the constant bombardment of bad news is enough to not only throw us out of balance, but keep us there. If you find yourself in that place, here are some of the ways we recalibrate:

💃Movement: To shift stagnant energy and complete the stress response cycle.

🌬️Breathwork: To send a direct “safety” signal to the brain via the vagus nerve.

🥣Sound: To use frequency and vibration to soothe the cellular body.

Regulation isn’t about staying “calm” 24/7; it’s about building the resilience to come back to center when life gets loud and fear comes forward.

If you find yourself in need of a support container for this work, we invite you to join us on 2/28 for a special half day retreat into embodiment, breath, and sound healing.

If you’re a helping professional right now, you’re likely feeling the weight of the many people who are struggling to breathe with these times. As more of us turn to therapeutic tools and practices, it’s important that we care for ourselves as we care for others.

Sometimes (or maybe often) the body needs permission from the mind to step behind the wheel. Somatic practices help us move, process, integrate, and ground the energy and information overload happening today. If you find yourself needing ways to move this craziness out of and through your body, this might be for you.

Now you can register with a friend and BOTH of you receive the early-bird discount ($50 off!). You can learn more at https://www.creativespiritcollaborative.com/groups-workshops

“Long before calendar-time and clock-time, our ancestors recognized this time of year as the midpoint between Winter and Spring. Cold nights persist and perhaps even grow colder for a time, and yet the Sun creeps higher in the sky every day. It makes sense, then, that this has historically been a time for attuning to Light and celebrating Fire.

When we let ourselves slow to the pace of the natural world, we’re reminded of an ancient, elemental knowledge buried deep within us. Yes, our modern society makes it challenging to cultivate rest and space and other Winter-qualities. However we can still cultivate harmony with both the growing light and the persistent darkness of the season. As you tend to it with patience, that inner, replenishing Space will bloom into your waking, relational experience.”

Sometimes we need a safe space to authentically give and receive, so we discover deeper parts of ourselves. Other times, we need a supportive container to drop into the body, and move. If you find yourself seeking authentic community online or ways to move the energy of the times through your body, we have resources and opportunities worth checking out.

You can sit with us anytime for our monthly virtual study groups, for ongoing conversations and explorations around spiritual wellness and community. If you desire in-person somatic experience, you can join us in Eugene, OR for our upcoming workshops:

🕺2/28 Embodiment, Breathwork, & Sound Healing 1/2 Day Retreat with Rachelle Cornelius and Saffire Bouchelion

🍵3/22 Somatic Infusions Workshop with McKenzie Bellis and Rachelle Cornelius

Sometimes the work we need to do is in our bodies. We need to move. And breath. And listen. If you find yourself needing these things, we invite you to join us this month.

CSC’s Rachelle Cornelius and guest facilitator Saffire Bouchelion will host a half-day retreat into embodiment, breath, and sound on February 28 in Eugene, OR. This 4-hour experience will take you through a journey of dance and movement in Saffire’s Dance Into Being, followed by Rachelle’s guided psychotropic and yogic breathwork. We’ll end with a replenishing, healing sound bath offered by both facilitators.

In a recent staff consult meeting, one of the
questions we talked about was “Is my place of authenticity outside of my comfort zone?”

Important questions for these times!
