Nausea may be an inevitable part of pregnancy for some, but that doesn't mean you can't do anything about it! Experts recommend eating small snacks throughout the day so that your stomach never gets empty rather than eating a standard three large meals. You may also want to begin a regiment of taking nightly Vitamin B6 and Unisom, which can help suppress nausea. If your nausea is still disruptive, talk to your provider about what options are available to you.

During pregnancy, your body needs to increase the amount of blood and iron it is producing in order to send oxygen to your baby. Because of this, it is easy for many women to develop iron deficiency during pregnancy, which can raise someone’s risk of pregnancy and delivery complications. Your provider will likely check your iron levels at least once during pregnancy, but you should keep an eye out for signs of iron deficiency such as fatigue, headache, lightheadedness, shortness of breath, and even a craving for chewing ice.
