This is *really* stupefying. If you ever had any doubt that the system employed to educate (er, subjugate) physicians is not about health, rather about pecuniary ($$$) gain and the priming of good people who happen to be physicians as drug pushers, this will set that doubt to rest.
Contemporary medicine is not designed to achieve health. It is designed to prolong and expand sickness while reducing patients' experiences of sickness. You can witness this iterative pattern in virtually every direction you look across the landscape of today's medical system.
