Nancy, Carol, Michele and I ventured out to Terry's Diner for some New Year's Eve Lunch or Breakfast! Carol and Michele toasted the New Year with Whiskey and Coffee drinks. We had a splendid time!

Here at Lone Oak we had a wonderful time at the Resident Christmas Party! Chef Wes did an amazing job with the food! The Magician David Grinder was incredible - so talented and entertaining! His magic tricks and music are so fun - he even played Christmas songs on bells, Coke bottles, and a saw! To top off the holiday festivities we had Jennifer from Mary Kay and her special family bring gifts for everyone! They have come for years and bring us so much joy! Merry Christmas and God bless everyone!

Here at Lone Oak we had so much fun in our 10th Annual Christmas Bazaar! Proceeds were donated to the Foster and Adoptive Parents Association! We want to thank our kind sponsers who gave so much to help out children in need - Ebb & Flow Boutique, Wild Life Safari, Oregon Coast Aquarium, Fiddlers Green Eugene, Willamelane, Omsi Science Center, Three Rivers Casino, Sweet Life, Mezzaluna Pizza, Cornucopia, Chiefs Brew House, and Jerry's Home Improvement ... it is so beautiful to come together as a community to bless everyone!

Our Lone Oak Family was so excited for the performance of Mike and Mandy! They were 1000 miles into their tour, and they were absolutely fabulous! Mike and Mandy's reputation is excellent, and we experienced the entertainment of a Broadway show right here in Eugene... music, singing and dancing, hilarious jokes and costume details such as a reindeer nose made everyone laugh and smile and sing along! Thank you Mike and Mandy for sharing your talents with us!

We at Lone Oak are so Thankful and so Blessed to have such wonderful residents and family members! Chef Wes and the entire kitchen staff did an Amazing job preparing and serving the Thanksgiving Feast! Lady Judy made it extra special with her famous Mac and cheese, Collard greens, and cranberry sauce made with Love! We had 44 guests and are so thankful for all of them. Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless Everyone!
