TJ's Restaurant and Bar has been in Creswell for over 30 years. Karen, resident Nancy's sister, joined us for lunch - since she lives in Creswell it was a short trip for her! The atmosphere is nostalgic with all the early pictures of Creswell. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. I had a Philly Cheesesteak and the secret ingredient was cream cheese - so yummy! At Lone Oak we go out to eat twice a month at different restaurants - sign up and come join us for the fun!

For the last 4 years, George, our resident at Lone Oak, has been running the Night Owl Club. The Night Owl Club consists of George's sound system, singing, dancing, and drinks served for refreshments. Recently George and his daughter have created t-shirts with the image of the flyer on them and asked the residents if they would like to purchase one for themselves to wear to the Night Owl Club. It was a big hit this past Friday night! If you would like to join us, it is the 3rd Friday of every month at 7pm. George puts flyers out the week before to remind everyone. Don't forget to wear your shirts on that day!

It was a beautiful day to travel to Three Rivers Casino. There were nine of us all together, which included Nancy and her sister, Ramona and her daughter, Tom, Rose, Judy, and myself and my daughter! As we arrive we always meet in the Blue Bills Restaurant and Lounge to have lunch first, before we spend all our money. Amber and I split a Club Sandwich, down to the pickle. It was plenty of food. We also shared a cup of Clam Chowder. Then it was off to gamble for awhile. I looked everywhere for Rose and found her in the Gift Shop! Judy was the luckiest one. Amber made most of her money back on the Glitter Kitty game. I really had fun on this coin game, which gave me a few Bonuses to leave with a little more money than I started with, which is a win for me! We all had so much fun!
