Lane County WIC Lane County WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children. Nutrition education is the cornerstone of the WIC Program.

This public health program is designed to improve health outcomes and influence lifetime nutrition for families. Lane County WIC provides the following services:
*Nutrition Education
*Breastfeeding Support
*Nutritious Foods
*Information and referral to other health programs like immunization and social service programs

At Lane County WIC, we recognize the stress and challenges of parenthood, and we are here to support you every step of the way! 🫶 Learning to handle stress in a healthy way is good for you, and it helps you set a positive example for your kids. This April, take some time to reflect, model, and practice ways to cope with stress:
🎧Prioritize time for something you love: Take a walk, listen to music, or read.
☮️Practice mindfulness throughout your day: Try learning new breathing exercises!
🏃‍♀️‍➡️Move your body: Regular movement, even short walks, can reduce stress!
