Here’s a statistic that I share on a regular basis to everyone in our houses…
I opened our first recovery house about 2 years ago and since then 16 people have moved into their own place (they did amazing at our houses and worked a solid program)
Out of those 16 people, only 3 of them remain sober today.
Most of them didn’t last a whole month before relapsing….
I always recommend a minimum of a year before moving out on your own.
I lived in one for 3 years before I got my own place! I know the importance of getting that time under our belts and creating new healthy habits!
The freedom that comes with getting your own place is a very dangerous thing! (So is getting a vehicle or getting into a romantic relationship)
Those are the top 3 things that lead to relapse in my experience…
We’ve proven that our best thinking leads us to poor choices….
So be smart!
Work on yourself….
Don’t leave the safety of your home until your 💯 ready and have a rock solid plan!

✅ STEP ONE COMPLETE – GRANT STREET PROPERTY 🏗️

Big milestone for PNW Uplift Recovery Housing 👏

This document you’re seeing is a recorded land partition and boundary survey. In simple terms, it legally defines the property boundaries and officially creates buildable lots. This is a critical first step that allows us to move forward with development, permits, and construction.

Why this matters:
✔️ The property is now legally divided and buildable
✔️ City-approved access, boundaries, and lot layout are established
✔️ We can now begin the next phase: building housing

What’s next:
Our plan is to construct multiple 4-plexes on the Grant Street property. This will allow us to:
• Expand PNW Uplift’s recovery housing network
• Provide more safe, stable, and affordable housing
• Support individuals in recovery with structured, supportive living environments

This isn’t just about buildings — it’s about creating opportunity, stability, and second chances for people working hard to rebuild their lives.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this vision so far. More updates coming soon as we move into the next phase. 💪

PNW Uplift – Building housing. Building community. Building hope.

A couple days ago i went to the Federal courthouse on behalf of one of our tenants at the recovery houses that was looking at getting sent back to the feds for things they did prior to coming to our house.
I thought I was just going for support but turns out the judge called me to the stand….
I told him how well this individual was doing and talked about how we run our recovery houses and the things we do to build relationships, and work a solid recovery program .
It went extremely well and we were able to bring them back to the house 🤘
Goes to show that the Judges and Parole officers really do care and truly want to help recovering addicts!
When your living right, great things happen ❤️
It felt really good to be able to help and truly be there for them 🤘
