LIVE FROM DALLASKA ❄️ ,everything’s shut down, and it feels like the apocalypse over here. 👈

While we’re stuck inside (and lowkey losing our minds), I’ve got a million projects running through my head and a lot coming up for Black Market this year.
I’m getting the keys to my new studio this weekend, which is wild. I’ll be sharing the address with my clients soon — it’s not the old space and it already feels like a whole new era.

This is just a little behind the scenes of my life when I’m not lashing.
Me and Leo downtown, being a couple of raccoons, exploring the icy city, popping in and out of places we probably shouldn’t be at.

If you’re in Dallas — how are you holding up?
Are you snowed in? Still working? Spiraling? Thriving?
I wanna hear what this week has looked like for you.

I’m still a lash artist in Dallas, still creating, still building — and I’m also really open to connecting more this year.
Clients, models, photographers, creatives, brands — if you’re local and aligned, let’s talk.

More lifestyle.
More real life.
More Black Market soon.

Last year looked quiet from the outside —
but it was anything but.

After over a decade in the beauty industry, I hit a point where I needed to know who I was without the one thing I’ve always known: Black Market Lash.

So I tested myself.

I built. I broke things. I created in silence.
I took Black Market into grocery stores, craft stores, downtown streets.
I touched fabrics, spray-painted canvases, tested colors, textures, and ideas — trying to give the brand a physical body again, not just an online presence.

I never stopped lashing.
I upgraded my equipment.
I explored new styles, hyper-realistic sets, color-matched lashes, anime textures — things I’d never allowed myself to try before.
I collaborated with Dallas creatives, photographers, artists, podcasters.
I showed up quietly, intentionally, without needing to announce it.

And yeah — in the middle of all that, I became a contractor and roofing saleswoman.
Commercial. Residential.
Just to see if I could survive outside my comfort zone.

It was exhausting.
New decade. New pressure.
Heartbreak. Doing everything on my own.
Trying to feel like myself again while still moving forward.

But here’s what matters:

Black Market never disappeared.
It evolved.

This year is about connection over performance.
More color. More depth. More collaboration.
Less playing small.

I’m opening space again.

🖤 I’m looking for new lash clients in Dallas
🖤 I’m looking for models who want something different
🖤 I’m looking for creatives, artists, photographers, brands who want to build something together
🖤 I’m looking for people who’ve gone quiet while doing the most

And yes — the studio is moving.
Not the old space.
Not the same energy.
A completely new chapter (details soon).

If you’ve ever reinvented yourself quietly…
If you’ve ever disappeared to rebuild…
If you’re craving community that feels real —

Tell me your story.
Share this with someone who needs a hug.
Or come sit in my chair.

Black Market is awake again.

I can’t be the only one who’s wanted to do this 😭😭😭

OK, the search is getting frustrating! I can’t make my mind up really what I want is a store front that cost about 10 K a month lol I love living in delusion land, but only for now! Because of the goal💖💖
as a good Sagittarius, I will be making an impulsive decision in the next week or so so keep your fingers crossed for me!

Should I do an updated version of this system?

If you’ve been thinking about getting lashed — now’s the time ⚡
I’m taking clients, models, and collabs in the Dallas / DFW area 👇
Let’s build something wild together.

Testing my limits lately 👁🖤
I’ve been deep in creation mode… experimenting with textures, materials, and ideas that feel a little out of bounds — and I’m finally ready to push them even further.

Let’s just say this look might be my official entry 👀✨
I’ll be submitting before the end of the week for something very special with — and I’m beyond excited (and nervous) to finally share what I’ve been working on.

Sometimes you have to break your own rules to find what’s next. 🔥

If you’ve ever felt like you don’t fit into this industry, this is for you. 🖤

I need you to hear me when I say this—these lashes aren’t just another product.

The last couple years I stepped back. I worked other jobs, I got burnt out, I even asked myself if I was done with lashing completely. But every time I tried to walk away, I kept coming back to creating. Playing with different materials, testing ideas, building things that didn’t exist yet.

I realized it wasn’t the artistry I was tired of—it was the box this industry tries to put us in. The “safe” curls. The copy-and-paste sets. The pressure to look like everyone else.

So I made these trays for artists who feel the same way I do. For the ones who don’t want cookie-cutter. For the ones who know artistry starts where the rules end.

If you’ve ever felt like you don’t fit the mold—you’re exactly who I made this for. 🖤
