He also leaves behind his step-grandson, Caleb Domingue of Eunice, and cherished great-grandchildren Mason Lavergne, Brylee Lavergne, Emery Lavergne, Flora Person, Theo Person, Thomas Person, John Person, Madilyn Laperouse, Joelle Laperouse, and step great-grandchild Collin Trosclair.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Caffery Joseph and Leotine Caswell LeJeune, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Estella Hebert LaFleur.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pug's life at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice. Visitation will be held on December 1, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary at 6:00 PM. Genevieve spent many rewarding years as a teacher in the 4th grade class at Glendale Elementary, where she had very fond memories of her students. Her dedication to education was evident, as she not only taught but also inspired countless young minds. She held a special place in her heart for Saint John Vianney, often seeking guidance and inspiration from his legacy.

Genevieve also took immense pride in her great-grandchildren, Amelia, Andrew, and Adeline Lombas.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Rodney Manuel; her parents, Peter and Mathilde Bellemin; and her siblings: Marie Fritsche, Geri Bellemin, Bertha Babb, and Charles Bellemin.
