We have several health vendors that will be offering blood sugar checks, blood pressure checks and a wealth of information on their services. Volunteer Captain

What does your job entail?
Oversee the maintenance of the fire station, equipment and related work, helps manage the delivery of suppression rescue operations, emergency medical incidents and hazardous material responses and public education programs.

How long have you been with the City?
15 years

What’s your secret talent no one knows about?
BBQing on the smoker

Tell me something most people don’t know about you?
I love being a grandpa and spending time, and fishing with my little man Noah

What is your dream vacation destination?
Glamis sand dunes for a week nothing but riding adventures with family and friends having a good time.

Gaige Tyree

What is your job position?

Firefighter/EMT

What does your job entail?

As a firefighter/EMT, I respond to fires and EMS calls.

How long have you been with the City?

I have been with the fire department for a little over seven years. I was a volunteer for six and a half years and have been full time with the city of Eunice since august of 2024.

What’s your secret talent no one knows about?

I can play various instruments.

Tell me something most people don’t know about you?

I love to go kayaking when I am off duty.

What is your dream vacation destination?

I would love to visit New York city.

Gaige has been a great asset to the shift. After coming on board he obtained his EMT license and is on track to continue his path to Advanced EMT. He also willing to help our staff who is working to obtain their own license. While on shift Gaige is always getting things done. If a task is even mentioned he is quick to get it done. We are proud to have Gaige on our shift and watching him full-fill his dream of being a career firefighter.

Zach Nash

What is your job position?

Fire Marshal/Paramedic

What does your job entail?

As fire marshal, it is my duty to make sure that all public buildings are safe and code compliant, ensuring the safety of the citizens of Eunice and to investigate fires to find out the cause. As a medic I run EMS calls.

How long have you been with the City?

I’ve been with the City of Eunice since September 2022, I was part time and then got on full time in November 2022.

What’s your secret talent no one knows about?

I’m pretty good with grammar and spelling. For example the words “should” and “shall” are not synonymous, should is actually the past tense of shall.

Tell me something most people don’t know about you?

I enjoy working and taking care of my yard when not on duty.

What is your dream vacation destination?

The Star Wars park at Disney World.

A WORD FROM HIS SUPERVISOR:

Zach has worked on C shift for the last year and a half after joining Eunice Fire with more than 15 years of experience. I have noticed he approaches the job with care, compassion, and aptitude as one of our paramedics and our fire marshal. All of these qualities are crucial for building trust while working as a responder. Zach has brought a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to my shift and has been a great addition to our community. Overall, it has been a pleasure to work alongside Zach as he has made a positive impact for both our department and the City of Eunice.

Trevor Bellows

What is your job position?
Division Chief for A Shift

What does your job entail?
Responding to emergency calls, providing patient care, supervise daily activities for A-Shift, and provide incident command.

How long have you been with the City?
2.5 years

What’s your secret talent no one knows about?
I’m not sure it’s a secret but I enjoy cooking.

What is your dream vacation destination? I enjoy traveling with my wife and family. Doesn’t matter the destination we always have a good time on our trips.

A WORD FROM HIS SUPERVISOR:
I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Trevor for many years. Trevor came to the EFD with many years of knowledge he has learned and gained from being a flight medic with Aero Care to now being the Division Chief/ Paramedic of A-shift. He is constantly thinking of ways to help grow and better our department, we are thankful for his dedication and commitment to the citizens of Eunice and the EFD.
