🏅Our SPRING Safe Sitter session of 2026 was a success!🏅

Students learned life-saving skills and helpful information in various situations such severe weather or other emergent situations.

Class Content included:
✅Safety Skills
✅Child Care Skills
✅First Aid & Rescue Skills Life Skills
✅CPR/First Aid

All students were awarded a certificate of completion!

Thank you for sharing your children with us and special thanks to our instructor, McKenzie Thibeaux, LPN, Community Outreach Clinical Educator, as well as Melissa Bellard for assisting!

📢Our licensed clinicians, Licensed Professional Counselors and Licensed Clinical Social Workers, are available to provide services to children, adolescents, adults and families, helping them navigate the challenges of life, develop healthy coping skills and improve personal relationships.

· Acadian Physician Specialties located on the 2nd floor of the Physicians Plaza at Acadian Medical Center
· Acadian Family Clinic f/k/a Harmon Medical Clinic located at 828 Creswell Lane, Opelousas, Louisiana
· Bengal Care located on the campus of LSUE (Room 152 - Science Building)

AMC is partnering with the Eunice Recreation department and Allegiance Home Health & Hospice to collect gently used baseball/softball bats for the young athletes in our community!

📆April 2 from 8am – 3pm
📍Drop off locations include Acadian Medical Center Physicians' Plaza lobby and the Eunice Rec office.

Every donation makes a huge difference in helping our community’s youth play the game they love!⚾️🥎
