At Heinen Medical, we are dedicated to providing excellent healthcare services to our patients. We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the revenue cycle by accurately processing medical claims and ensuring proper reimbursement for healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:
Review and process medical billing claims for accuracy, ensuring compliance with insurance regulations and healthcare codes.
Submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on outstanding payments or denials.
Verify patient information and insurance details before billing.
Work with patients to resolve billing inquiries and provide explanations regarding charges.
Handle claim rejections and resubmit claims after correcting errors.
Maintain accurate patient and billing records.
Coordinate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
Prepare and submit patient statements and billing reports.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in health information management or related field preferred.
