A reckless ballot initiative is being considered in California that threatens community health centers, including Open Door.

The measure would divert billions of dollars away from patient care, cut services our patients rely on, and even close health centers. It would devastate clinics, hospitals, and county health services in our community.

We’re excited to share some great news for expecting parents in our community. Open Door Community Health Centers is partnering with First 5 Humboldt to launch Centering Pregnancy, a group perinatal care program through the Welcome Baby Pathways to Resilience initiative. This program brings pregnant people together to receive care, build connection, and support one another along the way.
