【A CASE TO SHOW HOW MASSAGE CAN HELP YOU】
New client, a college student, came to visit me with tingling and numb sensation from upper arms down to his fingertips. In his spare time, he loves doing gym work and it makes his symptoms even worse. My finding from palpation was that his upper traps and rotator cuff muscles were extremely tight, which keeps irritating his brachial plexus nerve, causing his discomfort. Then a deep tissue work was done to release his tension along the brachial plexus nerve pathways and the symptoms got immediately relieved after that session. His homework is to copy the same session and doing some stretches to help his tight muscles.
