October 10th is World Mental Health Day. This year’s theme is about access to mental health services during catastrophes and emergencies. Strong communities are essential to good mental health, before, during and after an emergency or disaster. We build these communities when we weave mental health skill-building into all aspects of our lives: home, work, school, and play. Community-based mental health organizations like CMHA help do just that.

🧠 we ALL have mental health. very similar to caring for your teeth, you are worthy of caring for your mind because it determines the quality of your life 🦋

🌸 today especially, we are celebrating everyone’s mental health. wherever you’re at on your mental health journey, you are worthy of being celebrated exactly as you are right now 💐💐💐

🫂 we’re all in this together, and we will continue to have mental health conversations so that no one feels alone on their journey 🫶
