We are excited to share our wonderful news at Lake Internal Medicine Associates! Lake Internal Medicine Associates will soon become Lake Family Wellness.

As part of our ongoing commitment to meet the health needs of the community, we are transitioning to a comprehensive family practice under our new name, Lake Family Wellness. We are striving to continue to the legacy of Dr. Steven Tang. Our providers are extending our practice to patients of all ages.

Angel Tree at Lake Family Wellness ❤️🎄

We’re so excited to kick off a brand-new tradition of giving back to the families and children in our community this holiday season. Our temporary Angel Tree is now up in the lobby while we get our Christmas tree ready and it’s already filling our office with so much joy!

If you feel called to lend a little extra magic this year, simply stop by, select an angel tag, and choose a local child to shop for. All gifts can be dropped off in the donation box located right in our lobby. These donations go directly to children in our area who need a little extra support this season, and all contributions are tax deductible.

Your generosity helps brighten the holidays for families who need it most, and we’re truly grateful to be part of a community that shows up for one another.

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

Our all-female provider team is dedicated to empowering women to take charge of their health. Early detection saves lives, and we’re here to make sure you’re supported every step of the way.

🩷We offer:
• Clinical breast exams and well-woman visits right in our office
• Annual mammogram orders (we highly recommend Serene for quality and comfort!)
• Guidance on monthly self-breast exams and what to look for

For women of average risk, the American Cancer Society recommends annual mammograms starting at age 40.

What an incredible day! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all the amazing vendors, community members, patients, friends, and family who came out to celebrate our one year anniversary with us today.

✨ A Glimpse Behind the Scenes at Lake Family Wellness ✨

Yes, we’re a primary care office — but our story is about more than medicine. It’s about family, love, and the heart we pour into caring for our community.

When we’re not with patients, so much of our time is spent making sure this office is a place where you feel comfortable, supported, and truly cared for. If you’ve been here before, you probably know our “receptionist” Dr. Parker. No, he can’t schedule your appointment (yet 😉), but he’s a pro at making people smile.

All our other kids pitch in too, helping with little tasks around the office and having fun in the meantime. This space has become like a second home to them — and we hope it feels just as warm and welcoming for you.
