Southern Oaks Counseling, LLC is a company devoted to empower, enrich, inform and enhance the lives of individuals (children, teens, and adults), couples and their families by helping them discover the root of their problem. Southern Oaks Counseling, LLC primarily services to first responders, inmates, and community members over the age of twelve years old. Southern Oaks is a counseling agency who had an office in Evans and Augusta, but since COVID-19 we are virtual only (telephone or HIPAA compliant video). As a result, there is no longer an office assistant so feel free to email, text, or message me non-HIPAA questions or concerns. We currently take a variety of insurances including Tricare,Anthem,Cigna, United Healthcare, Amerigroup, Ambetter, Beacon, Humana, Medicaid, Medicare and many more.

He has risen—and in those three simple words, we are reminded that no pain is ever permanent, no darkness is ever too deep, and no story is ever truly over. Easter Sunday speaks to the parts of us that have felt buried by heartbreak, silence, and waiting, whispering that even in the stillness, something beautiful is being prepared. Just like the empty tomb, the things we thought we lost may return in ways we never expected. It’s a quiet assurance that healing is possible, that hope is alive, and that new beginnings can rise from places we thought were already finished. Today, we are reminded to believe again—not just in miracles, but in the strength within us to rise, too.
